Team Members

Inviting, managing, and overseeing team members in your workspace.

The Team Members section allows administrators and managers to invite new members, manage existing ones, and configure the permissions that control access across the platform.

Inviting Members

From the Members page, click Invite Members to open the invitation dialog:

  • Invite up to five members at once in a single batch
  • For each invitation, provide an email address, assign a role (Admin, Manager, Basic, or Viewer), and select a member type (Employee or Contractor)
  • The system validates each email for format and checks for duplicates (existing members or pending invitations)
  • An invitation email is sent automatically
  • You cannot assign a role higher than your own

Managing Pending Invitations

The Pending Invitations card on the Members page shows all outstanding invitations:

  • Update — change the role or member type before the invitation is accepted
  • Renew — resend an expired or missed invitation email
  • Delete — cancel a pending invitation

Managing Active Members

For each team member, the following actions are available:

  • Change role — promote or demote a member's role (requires the roles.manage permission)
  • Remove — remove a member from the workspace
  • Transfer ownership — transfer primary ownership of the workspace to another member

HR Team Members View

From HR Management > Team Members, you get an expanded view of each member including:

  • Full name, email, and profile picture
  • Role badge (Admin, Manager, Basic, Viewer, Owner)
  • Member type badge (Employee, Contractor, Client)
  • Phone number, position, and city
  • Join date and primary owner identification

Member Overview Modal

Click any team member to open a detailed overview with:

  • Contact information — full address and phone details
  • Job details — position, department, employment type, weekly hours, rate type, and start date
  • Contract history — all contracts associated with the member
  • Banking and payment information — bank details and crypto wallets (for contractors)
  • Documents — uploaded certifications, insurance, and contract files
  • Onboarding status — whether the member has completed the onboarding wizard

Roles and Permissions Configuration

Navigate to Members > Roles and Permissions to access the permission matrix (requires the roles.manage permission).

Permission Matrix

The matrix displays a grid of all available permissions organized by feature area, with toggles for each role:

  • Client Management — view, view all, create, update, delete, invite, manage settings, manage rates
  • Project Management — view all, create, update, delete
  • Task Management — view all, create, update, delete
  • Invoicing — view, view master invoices, view approved tickets
  • HR Management — view, create, update, delete, view contract rates
  • Calendar — view, create global events, edit global events, delete global events
  • Documents — upload, delete
  • Notes — share with team, share with clients
  • Roles and Members — manage roles, manage invitations

Permission Sync

Administrators can link related permissions together. When sync is enabled for a permission group, toggling one permission automatically enables or disables related ones — reducing manual configuration when setting up roles.
